Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Where are you, and where do I park?
A. We're located on Park Avenue in Scotch Plains, right across from Nettingham Middle School. There is street parking in front of the church, and we also have a dedicated parking lot behind the church--simply turn onto Church Avenue from Park Avenue, take your first left onto School Place, and the lot is on your left.
Q. Who's invited to come to All Saints'?
A. All of you! Regardless of who you are, what you do, who you love, your faith (or lack thereof), your level of knowledge about God and the Church...you are welcome here.
Q. What if I've never been to an Episcopal service before?
A. You won't be alone, and you won't have to guess. Our bulletins give you all the information you need, and our parishioners are delighted to answer questions and guide you along.
Q. Do I have to take Communion? Am I forbidden to take Communion?
A. We don't check your spiritual I.D. when you come in. All baptized Christians are welcome to come forward for the Eucharist. If you'd prefer a blessing, come forward with your arms crossed over your chest and the priest will say a special prayer of blessing for you.
Q. What happens after the service?
A. We have an incredible Coffee Hour! This is your chance to have delicious homemade treats, a cup of fresh coffee or tea, and enjoy conversation together.
