Our MissionAll Saints’ Episcopal Church strives to be a growing Christian community that welcomes, nurtures, and nourishes people of varied cultures, backgrounds, and ages.
We are committed to share the Good News of Jesus Christ through worship, fellowship, outreach, and education for our parish family and for the community. We gather as the Body of Christ so that we may grow in Christ and learn to live out our faith each day. |
Our VisionOur vision is for our parish family to be one in which each and every person experiences a strong, shared sense of ownership and applies his or her talents and enthusiasm to the good of the individual, the parish, and the greater community. We adopt this vision to help fulfill the Great Commission—Jesus said: “Go and make disciples of all nations.” -- Matthew 28:19

Our Ministries
We believe that all the members of All Saints' are its ministers. To keep All Saints' strong, we depend on everyone to get involved and enthusiastically welcome your participation. If you are interested in any of these ministries, please call the parish office at (908) 322-8047 for more information.
Acolytes
Young people (6th grade and up) and adults serve at the altar for our worship services. Altar Guild Members prepare the altar for all worship services, care for altar linens and vessels, and often arrange flowers for the church. Buildings and Grounds Members supervise the maintenance of parish buildings and care for the grounds. Meeting on the last Wednesday of every month, they discuss long-term projects and immediate needs, considering competitive bids from vendors where necessary. The committee also sponsors cleanup and workdays. Christian Education Believing it is important for Christians of all ages to learn about their faith, we offer the following opportunities:
Family Life Members plan recreational activities such as parties, picnics, and suppers to coincide with the seasons of the church year, and look into pastoral needs of the parish. Finance Committee Members oversee the church's budget. Hospitality Coordinates the weekly Coffee Hours, along with potluck suppers, receptions, and other special events. Men’s Lunch Fellowship for the men of the parish on the last Wednesday of the month. They perform a vital ministry, preparing the newsletter for mailing and, having earned it (smile), they enjoy lunch. |
Scholarship
Every year, parishioners who are graduating from high school and going on to higher education may apply for the Curtis M. Jackson Memorial Scholarship. Stewardship All Saints' has an active, faithful community of pledging members. Ushers' Guild Men and women greet worshippers, assist with directing the congregation to Communion at every worship service, and count the collection following the service. Worship Leaders/Lay Eucharistic Ministers After completing a series of classes in the parish, Lay Readers are licensed by the Diocese of New Jersey. They minister at all worship services, reading lessons, leading prayers, and administering Communion. |
